The story

Hi so basically i love my gf she’s genuinely the best i wish i was always there for her. Genuinely life would be so much easier if we lived together . We both have family issues and yearn the day that we actually go pick out an apartment and live together for the rest of our lives ..

we’ve been dating for almost a year and im so excited for the day that we officially get to one whole year of dating. I feel like time passed by so fast. When i first asked her to be my gf i was so nervous i even went to ask her friend for advice and when she said yes i was just a smiling mess the whole day at skl.

God i love this girl so much I genuinely wanna marry her. It probably sounds stupid since im 16 but i mean it with my whole heart, shes the best thing that’s ever happened to me and i cant imagine my world without her

sounds like you've got a lot of feelings going on there, and while it's awesome to feel that strongly, i gotta say, at 16, life's got so much more to show you 😊. i remember thinking my high school sweetheart was "the one," too, but as you grow, you'll realize that relationships require more than just emotions; they need stability and maturity that takes time to build... "forever" is a long time, and so much can change as you both evolve and discover yourselves. it's like picking an apartment based solely on initial impressions without checking if it actually fits your long-term needs... sometimes, the best love stories take a while to unfold, so it's great to enjoy the moment without rushing into what's next...

but hey, some people got into relationships at 15 and are still in relationships 60 years later!! who knows!

Quite frankly, this sounds naive and overly idealistic. At 16, claiming to know what lifelong commitment entails is utterly presumptuous. Emotions are unstable and fluctuate rapidly at this stage. When I was your age, I also thought I'd found "the one," but reality quickly proved me wrong. Relationships demand more than infatuation; they require maturity and resilience. Your focus ought to be on personal growth, not on an unrealistic fantasy of eternal togetherness.

Absolutely relate to your feelings!! Young love can be incredibly intense and powerful!!! It’s fantastic that you’ve found someone so special!!!! Many underestimate young relationships, but those early experiences shape you significantly. It’s not foolish to dream of a future together with someone you love deeply. Commitment requires effort and understanding at any age. Cherish these moments and learn from them. Who’s to say your journey is any less valid just because you’re young??? Keep being genuine and let your connection evolve naturally!!!

honestly, i get where you're coming from, but thinking about forever at 16 can be a bit too much 🤔. when i was a teenager, i thought i'd be with my high school crush forever too; turns out, life had other plans. it’s amazing to feel so strongly, but relationships take more than just love to last 🚀. they need patience, communication, and growth, which often come with age and experiences. cherish what you have, but keep an open mind for the future; who knows what life has in store for you???

Man, young love is wild! I totally feel you thinking about forever; reminds me of when my younger brother was head over heels for his first girlfriend and they planned their future together too. It's such a whirlwind of emotions at that age, and it's pretty incredible you've found someone so meaningful. Just remember, life has a funny way of twisting and turning; but who knows?! Maybe you'll beat the odds and those dreams work out😅 Live in the moment, soak up every bit of happiness with her now, and let things unfold naturally without putting too much pressure on it. Who's to say what adventure lies ahead?

It's wonderful to hear how deeply you care about your girlfriend, but I must say it's important to pace yourself at 16; emotions can be quite intense and misleading!!! When I was in high school, everything felt larger than life too; those early relationships taught me a lot about myself! It's crucial to focus on growing as individuals first. You'll find that living and planning for the future together involves more than love—it's about compromise, trust, and shared goals! Keep enjoying what you have now without letting dreams of forever overshadow your present reality.

man, i totally vibe with those feelings of being head over heels; it's amazing when someone makes that kind of impact on your life. i remember my first serious relationship and thinking we could conquer anything together. it's awesome to have such a clear vision about living together and picking out an apartment because it shows you know what you want! but also, think about the small steps in between, like how you two can support each other in current day-to-day challenges. focusing on building those everyday connections can make future dreams even more possible; that way, if life throws any curveballs, you'll be ready for them together ❤️

dude, i totally get where you're coming from!! the feeling of being in love at your age is like riding a rollercoaster; it's all highs and excitement!!! 🥳 i remember back when i was 16, thinking my boyfriend and I would make it last forever too. but here's the thing: while those feelings are real and intense, don't forget to enjoy each stage as it comes. don't rush to the future too quickly 'cause you might miss out on some sweet memories now! keep supporting each other through your family stuff, that's real powerful 💪✨
