The story

I can't take it anymore. My parents have never supported me in anything, when I want to move forward, they hold me back. I just need to go.

I want advice, I am planning to ask my cousin or friends to let me stay there at their house until I find some work and from there I'll figure it out. I've been advised to not forget my documents and take some money. What else can I do?

I don't know your situation so I don't know what you're going through... but how old are you? I assume you're old enough to work from what you say.

I'm old enough to work. I'm 21. My parents won't let me do college no matter how much I beg and I don't want to beg anymore.

Oh ok, I'm reassured! What a terrible situation you're in, I understand that you want to leave as soon as possible... good luck for the future, I hope you'll soon find someone to put you up and get started in life!

Hii i wanna say stay with a friend since your parents will likely go look for you at your cousin’s place first to let the word out, but whatever works for you! Idk much about your situation or what kind of advice to give but block your parents if they try calling you, don’t answer calls from immediate family since it’ll probably be them trying to reach out for you. Block out your parent’s friends and only tell people you’re closest to that you’re leaving, make sure they dont tell anyone <3

man, that’s a tough spot you’re in, i feel your struggle. totally get why you wanna bounce, it’s gotta be suffocating, living with parents who keep dragging you down, always got a chain on you when you trying to fly. asking your cousin or friends for a couch till you get your feet under you sounds like a solid move, just make sure you stay respectful of their space, don’t overstay your welcome. and yeah, grabbing all important documents and some cash is a no-brainer, but don’t forget stuff like chargers or any meds you need, cuz hitting a roadblock with that stuff ain't cool. it’s like sid vicious once said, "undying principles and survival instincts should govern one’s choices", so keep pushing forward, stay smart, you got this, just don’t burn bridges behind you, might need to cross them again someday. good luck, hope you find some peace.
