The story
I just got a message out of the blue from someone I haven’t talked to in years. This person sent me a simple note saying, "hugs, thinking of you today." I was honestly taken aback. I mean, after all this time, what could possibly prompt that? There hasn’t been any hint of communication or reason for them to reach out after all these years.
At first, I felt a mix of surprise and confusion. It's strange to hear from someone like this, especially when there’s been silence for so long.
