The story

So, here's my current life saga: I lost my job outta nowhere, and wow, didn't see that coming. One day I'm knee-deep in Excel sheets and budgets, feeling like I've got this whole finance thing down pat. My boss walked into the office like he was carrying a weight heavier than a ton of bricks. It wasn't long before he dropped the bombshell: layoffs across the board due to budget cuts. Like...talk about a rug-pulled-out-from-under-your-feet moment! 🤷‍♂️

Now, picture this: a big ol' pile of medical bills deciding to grace us with their presence too. One misfortune wasn't enough, apparently. Trying to juggle everything feels like a circus act gone wrong when you're not even trained to be balancing all these flaming torches at once! Every time we think we might sort one issue out another bill shows up screaming for attention: like it wants some award or something; Inflation's knocking on our door and can't even get a return label!

I’d love to say we're navigating this storm like seasoned sailors (ha!). Truth is optimism sometimes feels as scarce as sunshine during a dreary winter’s day in Seattle 😉 But there's no spell or quick fix here just tiny moments pieced together hoping they count towards something bigger eventually.

Most days start out pretty chill then reality slaps me awake real quick but ah well...this wouldn't be life without its unexpected curveballs right? So grateful tho for whatever little mercy sprinkled upon us...My better half's magical ways definitely deserve credit because facing all tha health problems so bravely reminds me daily how much beauty can stem from resilience itself despite circumstance.

Staying hopeful ain’t always easy yet hope swells within still, holding space beside worry :) Anyhow fingers crossed this new chapter surpasses wherever chapters choose closing doors once written anew.
