crying all the time
The story
I started this new job recently, and it's a high-pressure environment. Let me tell you, every day feels like a damn emotional minefield. I'm crying all the time over the smallest things. Whether it's a critical email from my boss or a misunderstanding with a colleague, tears are constantly on the brink of falling.
The other day, I received an email from my boss pointing out some errors in a report I submitted. I understand that feedback is crucial for improvement, but the way it was delivered felt like a punch to my gut. I found myself tearing up right at my desk! Why can't people be more considerate when providing feedback?
Then there was this incident with one of my colleagues. She left me out of an important meeting because she assumed I'd already been briefed (which I hadn't). It was just a simple misunderstanding, yet there I was again in tears... Seriously?! This isn't rocket science: communicate clearly to avoid unnecessary drama!
It's frustrating because I know that shedding tears doesn't solve anything. But it seems like no matter how hard I try to keep it together, the stress and pressure keep breaking down those barriers. Why can't work just be about doing your job without feeling like you're constantly under attack? 😡 Tears shouldn't be part of my daily routine!
