so i'm in this situation atm where my boss keeps askin me to work extra hours and it's like, all the time... i mean, don't get me wrong, i love what i do but it's startin to feel a bit too much. like, he doesn't even pay me for these extra hours and it's getting under my skin. the worst part is that he's always saying if i don't show up on weekends or during my days off, he'll fire me. 😕

it's a tough spot to be in cuz i really need this job. i've been trying to figure out how to handle this without making waves you know? there's gotta be a way to bring it up with him without sounding ungrateful or somethin. maybe if i approach him with solid points or examples of how much i've been putting in already, he might understand... but then again not sure if he'll even care.

i remember this one time when we had a big project due and he made half the team come in on saturday (no questions asked). it felt like there was no choice, which kinda sucks because everyone deserves some downtime! plus working under pressure all the time isn't healthy for anyone but when you're cornered like this what can you do...

still tryin to keep my head high though! i'm hopin eventually he'll see how dedicated we all are and maybe give us a break sometimes? 🤞 just want things to get better so we can all work happily without being stressed about our job security every weekend.
