how to get revenge on your ex?
The story
so here's the thing: i've recently found out that my ex has been going around at work, spreading all sorts of rumors about me. it's like they just can't let things go and move on. now it's making my workplace a living hell because some coworkers have started giving me weird looks or keeping their distance. some of them even asked me outright if the stuff they've heard is true. you know how wild it is when everyone seems to be in on something except for you? yeah, that's exactly what it's like. i want to think up some creative ways to get a little revenge without ending up in hot water legally, of course. maybe surprise them with some unexpected humor or ridiculousness that turns the tables; like meeting them for lunch and bringing one of those ridiculous blow-up dolls as my "date," just to see their reaction 😂
it's not that i'm trying to escalate this whole drama but sometimes you just want to feel like you've got a bit of control over your own narrative, right? i mean, sure, i could sit down and have a grown-up conversation with them about this whole mess but where's the fun in that? if someone insists on playing petty games, maybe it's fair play to join them and add a twist? i'm really trying not to let it stress me out too much, although i'll admit it's hard sometimes. any ideas from y'all would be super helpful! i'm hoping there's a light-hearted angle here i haven't thought of yet. beyond the usual advice about ignoring it because honestly sometimes you need a little creative outlet 😜 life's too short not to laugh at its absurdities.
