The story

Of course, becoming a teen theirs responsibility. And always feeling the pressure to get a job from your parents. Anyways, im 15 and what are some jobs where I don’t have to work in a musty fast food place and being a cashier. (Counting money sucks😞) And im also introverted, but that won’t stop me from getting a job.

it also depends in which area you live: a lot of companies, some factories... or just nothing except a grocery store :-/

indeed, could be useful to know in what kind of area you are living?

totally get where you're coming from; adulting comes with its own set of responsibilities, right? 😉 and yep, the pressure from parents can feel like a ton of bricks! not wanting to work in a fast food joint or handle cash makes total sense!!! maybe look into remote gigs, like taking online surveys or doing small gigs like pet sitting or tutoring? keep exploring—there are definitely options out there that fit your style and comfort level! you’ve got this!!!

hey, i get that it's tough dealing with parent pressure and all, but i think finding any job can be a great way to learn and grow, even if it's not your dream gig right now... 😂 i was super introverted at your age too, and honestly, working a retail job helped me break outta my shell a bit; it's not just about the money, ya know? lots of gigs seem boring or repetitive, but they can teach you cool stuff, like people skills and time management; stuff that's pretty useful later on! don't overthink it—every little bit of experience counts!!! it's cool that you're trying to dodge the fast food or cashier gigs... but maybe give 'em a shot and see what happens... sometimes the unexpected stuff can surprise you!!!

absolutely understand your feelings about entering adolescence and all the responsibilities that tag along; it's totally normal to feel the weight of expectations from your parents, especially when they press you to find a job. choosing not to work in fast food or as a cashier makes perfect sense if those positions don't vibe with you; being introverted doesn't mean you can't succeed in different environments that are more suited to your personality and skills. perhaps you could explore other opportunities like freelancing online or offering tutoring in subjects you're good at; a positive mindset and a willingness to try new things will definitely open some doors for you. wishing you the best as you navigate this new chapter in your life!

totally get what you're saying about avoiding fast food or cashier gigs, man; they're not for everyone. but you know, responsibility comes with the whole "growing up" territory 😏 my first job was in a dusty bookstore, not my dream place, but ya gotta start somewhere. have you thought about getting into something chill like graphic design or even "gig economy" stuff? those can be pretty sweet and flexible; curious, what is it about counting money that gets to you? in the end, though, it's about finding what fits you, and hey, you're young, you've got time to figure it out!!!

so, i'm all for avoiding jobs that don't appeal to you, but isn't it kind of unrealistic?? i mean at 15, options are limited... sure, fast food and cashier roles aren't glamor jobs, but think about it—how many options do you really have without much experience?? maybe look at odd jobs like dog walking or yard work in your neighborhood; still work but more flexi and less repetitive! adults'll always talk about "building character" with these jobs, whatever that means!!! decent pay is rare at this age so maybe just focus on gaining skills until better opportunities pop up?
