The story

So I'm here stressing out because my sister's wedding day is coming up and honestly, nothing is going according to plan!! 🤦‍♀️ I've been running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to organize everything but every time I turn around something else is falling apart. The flowers? Wrong ones delivered! The florist insists they're the right type but seriously, pale pink carnations instead of the lush peonies that were ordered? A big no-no!!! 😩 Then there's the dress... omg, I can't even. We're talking major wardrobe malfunction! It hung perfectly when my sis first tried it on, but now it's pulling in all the wrong places and needs last-minute adjustments 🥺 Which brings us to the catering situation: is there some kind of conspiracy here?? They promised everything would be good to go by today, yet we're still missing half the menu items.

I mean, I'm trying so hard not to lose it but c'mon!!! It's her special day and I feel completely helpless watching these disasters unfold one after another. There's nothing worse than wanting everything to be just right for someone you love so dearly and having literally everything go sideways 😅 You know when you think you're juggling all the balls perfectly until....boom...they come crashing down?! That's me right now.

I've been telling myself over and over that it'll all work out somehow (and hopefully bring some comfort LOL) but sometimes it's tough keeping that optimistic facade up. Things like "everything happens for a reason" just don't fly when you're stuck in this chaotic mess! Somehow I've gotta find a way to make it better before she sees what's going on...

But hey, at least I've got coffee keeping me company through this madness... Fingers crossed things will miraculously solve themselves or I'll figure out some genius fix!

Anyway, thanks for reading my little vent session. Just needed somewhere to spill my frustrations while keeping calm outwardly 💁‍♀️ Here's hoping everyone else planning weddings has smoother sailing!
