The story

So here's the deal: me and my boyfriend have been together for over a year now, right? We love chilling with each other, but sometimes we're just, like, sitting there in silence. And don't get me wrong, it's a comfy silence most of the time. But I've started thinking maybe we should spice it up with some new topics, you know? Cause I think there's more to explore by diving into stuff like our childhood stories or where we see ourselves in five years and all that jazz. It's wild when I think about it because last night we were watching TV and out of nowhere I asked him about his favorite childhood memory. And boom! It turned into this deep convo where I learned he once thought he was destined to be an astronaut 🌌. Who knew?! I told him about how little me wanted to be a vet until she realized blood was not her thing; So yeah, those convos are fun as hell and kinda open your eyes a bit.

Anyway, I'm no relationship guru (thank goodness), but getting inside each other's heads can only make things better between us. It's like opening up another chapter where even mundane things become interesting 'cause we're seeing them through fresh eyes. Future aspirations is another hot topic... we've touched on it lightly here and there but haven't really hashed it out completely yet. Like what's next after this year together? Traveling Europe maybe? Or picking up surfing lessons together at some point (his idea). All these conversations hold so much potential for growth and laughter; pretty dope if you ask me! Having talks that evolve past the small talk phase might just broaden our bond infinitely without needing any dramatic changes otherwise.

hey i get it tho being in a long-term relationship can definitely bring those silent moments but why not cherish them too? not everything needs words you know sometimes actions speak louder - have y'all ever considered doing activities that push boundaries or take ya outta comfort zone?

absolutely love where you’re going with this! the way you're actively trying to make your relationship deeper is super cool!!! your idea of talking about childhood memories and future goals seems like a fantastic way to connect; i think adding some shared new experiences could also kick things up a notch. maybe try experiencing something neither of you has done before? it often brings you closer when you're discovering stuff together;; keeps things fresh and exciting while giving you more stories to share 🌟
