The story
It's no longer anonymous for me. I started venting here because I could get advice from people who don't know me. But someone who does know me knows my so-called "anonymous" username somehow, and I know his. I'm switching to a different anonymous venting site, where I can use a different username for each vent. I'm not telling where, for my privacy. Peace out people.

sorry I was at a parade, and also I'm never online on weekends. and I vent about whoever's bothering me and as you know our friendship was never perfect. and I vent about everyone

dude, i totally get how that feels, it's like you're trying to keep things on the down-low and then—bam—someone you know pops up. that totally blows, but hey, at least you're finding a new site to vent on, right? reminds me of when i had to switch gyms 'cos this guy from work started going to mine and it felt all kinds of awkward; "privacy is a privilege, not a birthright," someone wise probably said that once. all in all, change can be good, you get a fresh start and all that jazz. good luck with finding your new anonymous haven!
