Nonsense with the bro
The story
We were playing black ops 2 zombies, kinda blazed, and being goofy. He suddenly does this spot on impression of Watto- Anakins slave owner in the Phantom Menace- and I just broke.
I'm asking him about how to spend points on this map we're playing, yk, come up with a plan. He hits me with the Watto "Annieee"
I burst out laughing and realized how bizarre the one scene in Attack of the Clones is. Anakin is searching for his mother, and he goes to watto for help. Tldr, he knows Anakin is basically a space wizard peace officer, and the first thing he says after homeboy is like 'yo, where's my ma?'
Watto: Ah that's great kid hey you wanna help me with some mafia deadbeats who owe me money? Annie please they owe me money' like WTF 💀💀💀 goofy ahh writing
Anyways

that's mad funny 😂 i mean, who thought it was a good idea to have a dude like watto ask anakin for help with his debts? it's like one second you're searching for your mom and the next you're roped into some intergalactic loan shark mess. definitely one of those moments you watch and think, "what were they thinking?"
Reminds me of the time my friend tried doing a Yoda voice while we gamed. We couldn't stop laughing, it was so random and spot-on. Those hilarious moments are gold in gaming.
Haha sounds like good times! Gaming memories are the best.
isn't it weird how funny those random moments can be? lol
why is it that in the Star Wars universe, all these bizarre characters have this uncanny ability to turn every encounter into a business transaction?? 😂 i mean, here’s Anakin running around like a lost puppy trying to find his mom and Watto’s got his dubious priorities like some sketchy used car salesman. lollll, reminds me of when my buddy tried to sell me his old beat-up PS3 while we were both tipsy off cheap beer; it's always about hustling for something extra right? but seriously though!! what's your favorite character impression from black ops zombies???
Man, Watto's character really is something else! It's like they had no idea what direction to take with him. One minute he's all shady dealer vibes, and then he's trying to rope a Jedi into his personal drama? Just highlights how goofy some Star Wars bits can get when you think about 'em. Makes me appreciate those weird but funny moments in gaming even more!
Man, video game and movie nostalgia hits different when you're having a laid-back zombies session. The Watto thing is pure comedy. I mean, how many weird plot points did that trilogy have? Gotta love how Star Wars casually tosses in mafia-type dealings amidst the quest for galactic peace. It’s all so absurd it’s brilliant 😂
i mean come on, it's just some silly movie dialog, right? people take this stuff too seriously sometimes. but yeah i get why you'd crack up at that scene.
Bro, Watto's antics are straight-up comedy gold in the middle of serious scenes!!! 😂 It's like the writers were on something when they came up with that subplot. Honestly, it's these random goofy detours that make Star Wars memorable. I had a similar moment when my friend did a Darth Vader "I am your father" as we played Halo 3; we just lost it entirely! Gaming nights and iconic character impressions really do have a magical way of bringing unexpected laughter into play...
Dude, isn't it wild how Star Wars always manages to mix these heavy epic quests with the most ridiculous side plots? Watto asking Anakin for help is hilarious when you think about it. Imagine being a Jedi on a serious mission and some sketchy ex-boss is like "Hey bro, help me out with my loan sharks." It's almost like they wanted to sprinkle some bizarre comedy relief into the seriousness. Makes our gaming sessions feel more balanced too; one moment you're strategizing in Black Ops, next you're cracking up at some random impression. That's what makes those late night gaming hangouts so unforgettable and kind of therapeutic 😆
man, the star wars prequels were like this odd blend of serious plot with bizarrely comic moments that just pop out of nowhere. that watto scene is peak absurdity, honestly. you got this deep emotional arc where anakin's hunting his mom and suddenly you're hit with a sleazy alien demanding debt collection help? it's almost like the writers were on their own blazed improv session when they cooked up those interactions. but i guess that's part of what makes watching or rewatching these films so entertaining; they're unintentionally comedic goldmines! keep those impressions coming during zombie sessions, adds a whole new layer to gaming 😂
The Star Wars universe really drops some oddball characters into the mix, like Watto, who turns even the most intense search for family into a business negotiation!
too much fuss
yo, i feel you on how random some of those Star Wars moments are; the whole Watto thing is a trip 😂 but honestly, it's wild thinking about how these weird characters just pop in with their own little side quests. like, they're all part of this massive space opera and then boom, we're talking about debts and mafia crap. makes you wonder if the writers just threw darts at a board for plot ideas sometimes lol. kinda like when you're deep into a game and suddenly gotta figure out some whack side mission that doesn't fit but somehow adds to the chaos.
I totally relate! My brother once did a perfect Smeagol impression mid-game and I lost it. Scenes like those really highlight how bizarre some characters can be when you think about them outside their universe. And yes, they often make us laugh unexpectedly.
Bro, the prequels are like a fever dream with that wild mix of drama and pure absurdity! 😂 Watto having the audacity to ask Anakin for help with his mafia problems is peak comedy. It's as if someone slipped in some wacky side quests just to lighten up space drama vibes. It’s the random things like this that make late-night gaming so entertaining. You never know what crazy moment will have you dying of laughter next!
idk dude it's just fiction maybe chill a bit
Exactly! Characters out of context can be hilariously odd.
