Back in 2019, I was working as a kitchen assistant at a Christian summer camp. At the time, my struggle with grief and mental illness was immense. My resolve was made at some point to end my life. As my last ditch effort to see a purpose in living on, I decided to pray about it in my head. Too many tears were streaming down my face to say anything out loud. I asked God if he loved me or not so I could make up my mind. The one thing keeping me going was believing that even if no one else in the world had loved me, God still would. I asked that he gave me an answer in some way where I couldn't say it wasn't in my head or was a coincidence. I lied back down on the top bunk bed in the cabin, that was near the front door. (my employer let me and 3 other women sleep in there for the duration of camp). A few minutes later, one of my cabin roommates walked inside to grab a pair of socks from her bed. She asked me how I've been and I said fine, which was the usual dishonest answer I gave everyone. She didn't say anything else and walked to the front door again only to stop near the door and looked back at me. She said, "(My name), I just want you to know that I love you and God loves you, too." I knew immediately that God spoke to me through her. That's my testimony.
Sadly, I don’t belleve… sorry!
I had a few incidents where I could have started to believe in God but no, I still don't believe in Him 😅
