I hope your day is going well
The story
I decided to take a walk in the park today, hoping it would help clear my head after the hectic morning I had. You see, work's been a real nightmare lately with deadlines coming out of nowhere and people constantly needing things from me like I'm freaking Santa Claus. I thought that a little fresh air could do the trick but boy was I wrong. Everything seemed fine at first, birds chirping and all that jazz. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the sky opened up and just dumped on me like it couldn't hold it anymore. And here I am soaked to the bone because of course, in all the chaos this morning, I forgot my damn umbrella at home.
It's just typical right? Like is this a sign? Maybe it's telling me how my day will go or maybe I'm overthinking (which wouldn't be new). But seriously what gives? One would think there's some cosmic joke being played on me 'cause how else can you explain finally getting out to clear your head only for nature to slap you in the face with rain. Anyway, now I'm sitting here drenched and frustrated trying to figure out if it’s even worth going back inside while wet or if I should just embrace being miserable for the rest of today... Life's funny sometimes😒 It's almost like when you're already late for something important but then get stuck behind every slow driver known to mankind.
