I Hate How Guilt-Tripping People Think They Help Me
The story
so, i met ts woman . she asked questions . when i shutdown , the guilt - tripping started .
'dont u care abt ur mom ? who will look after her? look at the disabled ppl on the street who cant even use their hands . ure not like them , so why do u cvt urself ?'
ppl like her think guilt is a cure . they dont realize its js fuel . i tuned her out completely , staring at her unrecognized face , wondering how someone could be so dense . she thought her words were medicine , but they were pure acid. i wish she had to live my life instead . but then i realize .. if someone as disgusting as her became me , i wouldnt even want my own body back .

I disagree with wishing she had to live your life, because her ignorance does not deserve any more space in your head; Her comment about disabled people was cruel and completely irrelevant, not "medicine" or any credible form of support. If you might cut again tonight, please dont stay alone with it: text someone you trust or contact a crisis line and tell them plainly that you need immediate company.
Using disabled people on the street as a guilt prop was grotesque and spectacularly ignorant!!! She wasnt offering medicine, she was weaponizing strangers' suffering to shame you;
