The story

I've no prior writing experience and last time I posted a writing here and I'm doing it once again. These arenot the words of someone who has good experience in writing as I'm just an amateur. Well so I wanna like some thoughts from others and was hoping maybe like I'd get a good title for this poem. I thought of something that could symbolize both green and blue at once but honestly I can't think of any good titles. It'd be a great help to get to know from others. Also this is confession about my unrequited love.

For long, I remember

I’ve always loved the colour “Green” !!!

I loved the colour of dense forests and trees,

The soft grass laying on the ground,

The colour of Nature itself.

I loved how the “Green” shines under the sun,

Yet shows its depth under the moon,

And the way it’d trinkle when it rained.

I was in awe, I believe I’m still in awe…

I wonder when I fell for the colour “Blue”!!!

Since when did “Blue” ever intrigue me before?

Is it simply because I find it pretty,

Or is it due to the way, it reminds me of “You”!?

I believe I’m still in love with the “Green”,

Yet I can’t stop painting myself in your shades of “Blue”!!!

I’ve always loved the days when it’d rain,

I simply loved how those gentle rain drops

Would kiss the “Green” on the Earth!!!

But now, I find myself longing to see

The vast “Blue” skies that lies above my “Green”!!!

Ohh, How I wish to soar high in “Your Blue Skies”,

And, yet sink slowly in the depths of “Your Blue Oceans”…

My eyes wander everywhere I go,

As if their sole existence is to find

The shade of “Your Blue”,

Among the crowds of unknown colourful souls,

Like how the moon yearns for the sun,

Even among the countless stars,

Because how could the moon

Ever dare to shine without the sun…

Haha, I feel you on the title struggle. Naming things is such a pain sometimes! 😅 Honestly, your poem captures this really intriguing duality between green and blue that feels kind of elemental. Maybe something like "Emerald to Azure" could work? It reflects that transformation or conflict between both colors which ties into your theme of unrequited love too. Reminds me of how my playlists are always stuck between two moods, haha... Keep going with it; you've got some serious imagery happening here!
