Writing a poem to cope :D
The story
You were so desperate for love,
You blindfolded yourself.
You lifted that blindfold
Only to see from rose-colored eyes.
Everything else was not important,
Until it was.
The blindfold came off
But it was too late
You had overlooked so much
And it only powered him more
You justified it all
Slowly losing your power and yourself
Slowly crumbling from the pressure
The fights
The rules
The expectations
The weight of never being good enough
And now all you can do is try
Try to say the right things and do the right things
Try to make sure nothing goes wrong
To avoid conflict
To avoid being disappointed in your choice all over again
To stop yourself from ending it all
Hoping to keep the illusion of peace
But how do you stop yourself from wishing for the peaceful bliss of death?
A final stop to a life that has become more painful than you can bear
The relief of nothingness
All you can do is wish
So that's all you do
Hoping to find the peace you so desperately need now

Points of view
your poem's intense but maybe you're focusing too much on the drama instead of what you can change. like sure, relationships get messy and mistakes happen, but you don't have to keep suffering, ya know? look, I was in a crap relationship once too and it took me a while to see that I had a choice. it's not about pretending everything's fine when it's not; it's about figuring out how to move forward without feeling trapped or hopeless. maybe try looking at one thing you can do today to start making things better for yourself, instead of just spiraling in the pain.
