My Family Disregards My Boundaries and It Hurts Deeply
The story
A while back i was 9 year old and showering with my mom cause i was sick that day so she helped me. I told her to lock the door so nobody could come in. But then i heard some noice. i told my mom who was that didn't you lock the door? Then i saw my grandmother in. I panicked so i immediatly (or not i dont remember) screamed her to get out. But... she didnt! My grandmother always been like this. Like always joking about thing that arent good to joke about (she was joking about my insecurities like my eating disorder my not so good teeth cause i had a period where i was bedrotting cause of loneliness and all) she broke my boundaries many time and she also made comments about my chest!! (Which im not gonna tell here) i told my mom that i was uncomfortable with my grandmother but she brushed it off cause yknow it her mom i guess... so i ignore my grandmother ! Good thing right?... nah. she played the victim "why wont my grandchild love me" geez i wonder why. Anyway my mom force me sometime to kiss her at the morning but now almost my whole family say that it rude of me to ignore her and she cries because i dont love her? And sometime i think i am on the wrong- so yea..

Bruh, that's seriously messed up; your grandma sounds like a real piece of work. It's not cool when family crosses those lines and then acts all shocked when you don't play nice. I remember my uncle always making jokes about stuff that made me uncomfy too, and no one really took it seriously 'til I flipped during a family event LOL!!! Your feelings are valid; you're not wrong for wanting some boundaries. Family can be tough sometimes, but just cause they're blood doesn't mean they get a free pass to mess with your head like that!
