The story

My boss tends to scold me on our workplace group chat. I try to just learn from the experience but it has been challenging because most of the time it is just about little things. I would really appreciate the decorum to just be civil (boss is not saying bad words when im called out) but just scolds me (you can read it in the tone of the message). I do not want to talk to her about it coz I do not want the conflict and she does tend to explode.

I totally get where you're coming from!!! 👍 Your experience is so relatable; it's like walking on eggshells, and it must be tough dealing with that kind of vibe 😅 It would be amazing to have more pop and respect in communication; hopefully, your boss comes around and there’s a lil’ more positive energy in the mix!!! Keep your chin up, things might just sway in your favour sooner or later! 🌟

I get that dealing with criticism isn't always fun, but I reckon you're missing the chance to grow. Improving from small things can actually be massive; there's always room for improvement, right? Just try to be calm and make the best out of the feedback. Who knows, it might turn out to be super beneficial for your career! 😊

Dude, I totally feel your pain!!! 🤯 My last boss did the same thing and it drove me nuts! It sounds like a massive headache dealing with that passive-aggressive crap. Why can't some people just get it, ya know? If my boss scolded me in the group chat like that, I'd probably lose it. It's like, how hard is it to communicate like a normal human being??? I've learned it's best to just roll with it, but seriously, it's not cool!!! Keep your head up, maybe things will chill out soon.

man, i get it might feel tough being called out like that, but maybe there’s something to learn here. in my last job, i got feedback that felt super nitpicky, but i realized it helped me level up my game; maybe your boss is just trying to keep the team tight. sure, it ain't the friendliest way to handle things, but it's not the end of the world. staying chill and using it as fuel to improve could be the way to go. dealing with someone who explodes can be a drag, but sometimes it’s all about how you react.🤔

honestly, I can see where you're coming from with your boss's behavior; it's definitely not the best way to handle things. i remember when my supervisor used to give me feedback in front of everyone, which was kind of embarrassing but at least it was constructive. have you considered if there's an underlying reason your boss communicates this way? sometimes managers use the group chat to set a precedent, even if it’s a bit uncomfortable for individuals. maintaining decorum and professionalism in the workplace is crucial, but have you thought about finding a way to address this without triggering a conflict? 🤔 finding common ground could ease the situation.
