The story

Losing my job was a sudden, unexpected blow that sent me spiraling into uncertainty. My self-esteem, which I had always considered moderately stable, took a significant hit. The industry landscape is unforgiving and cutthroat, and the termination left me feeling like a discarded piece of machinery in the relentless gears of corporate efficiency. 'The worst part about being strong, is that no one ever asks if you're okay.' This quote resonates now more than ever as I ponder on whether I possessed any strength at all or if it was merely an illusion concocted by self-deception; nevertheless, amidst this adversity, I've found solace in my intrinsic understanding of my worth.
