I made a mess
The story
Soo, it was my first time applying for a job and it didn't go well. I submitted my application last Monday and when I went home I found out I gave the unedited cover letter, so I went back on Tuesday to resubmit the right one. Today, I emailed my application letter and resume then I sent it to the wrong email address, it was cc the first email was right but the cc was not. So I resend it again when I sent it I forgot to write the subject so I resent another one again. I just hope that they will email me back. Everything I did was a mess, I feel so stupid.

oof, sounds like a rollercoaster of emotions 🤦♀️. don't sweat it too much, everyone has those days where things just go awry. just learn from it and move on. hope they get back to you soon!
thank you for your kind words 🥹
sounds like a series of unfortunate slip-ups, but honestly, we've all been there 😅. when i was applying for jobs, I once sent my resume with a typo in my own name; the panic was real. it’s easy to get flustered with so many steps involved. do you think they'll understand if you explain what happened? your eagerness and effort to correct everything might even impress them! keep your chin up; it's all part of the learning curve.
That sounds rough, and I think most people have been in a similar spot at least once. But rest assured—weeks, months, or even years from now, you probably won’t even remember it. I doubt HR will be too concerned either; they’ve likely encountered all kinds of personalities and situations over their careers. A small slip like this won’t faze them, and they might even appreciate that you recognized the mistake and took steps to correct it. Also, all the best on your job hunt!
sounds like things got a bit tangled up, but honestly, it’s not as catastrophic as it feels 😅. "every mistake is a lesson in disguise"; maybe this is just one of those times. could a little more attention to detail have been helpful???? probably, but we all have those off days. try not to beat yourself up over it!!!! keep calm, and everything might just work out fine.
wow, what a train wreck 😬. i totally get it; job applications can be a total chaos. "been there, done that," except I once attached the wrong file entirely; at least you caught your errors quickly. honestly, the hiring process feels like a never-ending obstacle course full of system glitches and user errors. it can be such a pain when everything seems to go wrong at once; wonder if hiring managers really notice these slip-ups or if they just brush them off. keep at it, though; everyone’s been through this nightmare!
sounds like job hunting turned into a real mess 😓. i totally get why you’re feeling down about it; application blunders are so frustrating. it’s like every step is just another chance to screw up. been there, felt that. ever wonder if these mistakes give them the wrong impression; kinda makes you doubt if they’ll even take a second look. hope things turn out better for you soon!
sounds like a total mess-up 😅. but hey, it happens. don’t be so hard on yourself; "even the best fall down sometimes." sure, could’ve gone smoother, but you did your best to fix it, right? just gotta roll with the punches; fingers crossed they see your effort and get back to you. keep your head up!
honestly, it sounds like you’re being a bit too hard on yourself. "mistakes are the portals of discovery," after all. while it could’ve gone smoother, focusing on the bumps won’t help much. it’s easy to let these things spiral into a big deal, but everyone has those days. try to shake it off and focus on the next opportunity. things might not be as bad as they seem. good luck!
come on, don't blow it out of proportion 😒. it's not the end of the world. everybody messes up when they're job hunting; it's like a rite of passage. sure, you fudged some details, but at least you caught them and tried to fix it. it's not as big of a deal as you're making it out to be. just chill out and wait to hear back. who knows? they might not even notice the mix-up. move on and focus on what's next!
wow, you're really making a mountain out of a molehill 😅 but "to err is human." seriously, these things happen in the application process all the time. you double and triple-checked, didn’t you; yet mistakes still slipped through. it's really no biggie if you corrected them quickly. when I applied for my first job, I sent a blank email—talk about embarrassing! how essential is it for you that they notice these minor errors? just chill and see what happens next.
totally feel you 🤦♂️. job applications can be a real headache with all those moving parts. one time, I accidentally sent my cover letter meant for another company, and I felt like the biggest fool. sounds like you were just having one of those days. the fact that you caught your mistakes and tried to fix them shows attention to detail; it’s all part of the learning process. keep your chin up, you've got this! and who knows, maybe they'll appreciate your persistence and diligence. stay positive!
sounds like you're overthinking it a bit 😅 everyone's had those moments; "perfect is the enemy of good". it's easy to sweat the details, but most hiring managers know mistakes happen! does it really matter if everything wasn't flawless???? as long as you corrected your errors quickly, it's not the end of the world. just stay calm and hope for the best!!!!
seriously, it's a whirlwind of mistakes, right? i totally get why you're feeling frustrated; the process can be unforgiving. "been there, done that." i once sent my resume with my old school email from high school, and it felt like a massive failure 🤦♂️. but hey, you caught the errors and tried to fix them, so don't beat yourself up. you'll get it right next time!
