so i took the day off work to help my friend move. We made this plan like a month ago, you know? Everything was set, and I even turned down an invitation from another buddy who wanted to hang out that day. Then suddenly, boom, she's canceling on me last minute. 'Oops, something came up,' she said. Whatever, it happens, right?

But here's the kicker: I'm scrolling through social media later and see her tagged in photos at some beach with someone else! Not helping me move or dealing with an emergency or anything but off on a fun little day trip. can you believe that? It hit me like a ton of bricks....I thought our friendship meant more than this.

now I'm sitting here wondering what I did wrong or if I'm the fool who misread everything. Trust issues creeping in big time because if my closest mate can pull this kinda stunt what's stopping anyone else? Felt like a punch to the gut but trying to stay hopeful things will eventually make sense. there's a quote that says 'trust takes years to build...and seconds to break'.....ain't that the truth?
