The story

I know how to deal with some of them. I’m not going into details. I just wanna know if one day they’re going to stop. The main reason it’s because november and december sometimes represents hard times for me. Those months were the beginning of a traumatic event.

I’m fine but from time to time they’re back and I don’t know the triggers. The question here is how do you get of them while they are actively happening?

They may not fully stop on a schedule, especially when November and December act like an anniversary cue, but the episodes can become less intense and less frequent. When one hits, I'd bluntly focus on sensory grounding, cold water on your hands, naming five visible objects, and slow exhales, because trying to intellectually identify the trigger mid episode usually made mine worse; have you noticed whether they happen more around certain smells, weather, or dates?? 🙂

I totally agree that not knowing the trigger makes it worse, and I doubt they simply stop on their own; when one hits, have you tried grounding by naming five things you see and reminding yourself of the current date, especially during November and December, so your nervous system gets a clear reality check?
