The story

I’m sitting on this beach, supposed to be relaxing, but my mind is like a storm. I can’t stop wondering if this is what people mean by a crisis. It feels surreal to be here on the soft sand, watching the waves, while inside I’m swirling with anxiety and confusion. Everything looks so calm and beautiful, yet I can’t shake this chaos in my head. Is this really what a crisis is?

People talk about crises like they’re huge disasters, but maybe it’s just these racing thoughts and heavy uncertainties that make me feel lost. I feel helpless, even surrounded by all this beauty. It’s like the peace around me only deepens my sense of disconnection. Can you really be in the middle of a crisis when everything looks fine on the outside?

Emotions are so tricky. Who do you even ask if your anxious feelings fit into this neat little box called crisis? Everyone else seems to have their struggles hidden but powerful, attacking their peace from within. It’s confusing and unsettling.

Some days, when feelings of inadequacy mix with worries about everything, time stretches out. Moments refuse to flow smoothly. Everything feels muted, like I’m just going through the motions against this sharp backdrop. I feel stuck between my fears and a reality that nobody else sees. It’s exhausting trying to find meaning in what I’m going through.

All this thinking feels unproductive. I want to find something outside myself to help me deal with this internal chaos. It’s like I’m constantly searching for answers, trying to understand this sense of emptiness. My perspective feels fragile, and I just want to articulate what I’m feeling. It’s a mess, and it’s driving me insane.
