Am i lesbian or bi?
The story
sriously guys... am i lesbian or bi?? that's the big question bouncing in my mind these days and honestly, i'm damn tired of it. it's not like anyone makes it easy either. growing up in a household that celebrated being the quintessential conservative model of society didn't exactly leave room for open discussions about anything remotely progressive...or even personal. they held onto their views like lifeboats and expected me to do the same. but here i am, flummoxed and bewildered over my feelings which seem to show up uninvited at the most inconvenient times! seriously, how did they expect me to just fall into line without questioning my own desires?? sex education was a joke at best and non-existent at worst... so naturally, my questions never quite found a satisfactory answer.
do you ever feel lost inside your own head? because that's what venturing into relationships feels like when you're questioning every bit of who you are... not fun. went on dates with guys (yep, doing what was expected of me!!)and sure enough i felt attracted (i suppose?). but then there's this relationship i'm currently in with another woman that started as a complete surprise (a surprise unlike no other revelation i've had) and there goes my equilibrium again! now if only somehow magically poof away all the indoctrination from years past would be gone just so i could get some clarity!!! like maybe love knows no gender boundaries? ha! to tackle burgeoning thoughts daily while deciphering what's social conditioning versus genuine feeling... that's not frustrationally exhausting at all! why's everything gotta be this convoluted puzzle???

You've basically summed up the frustration with trying to label everything. Labels can be a *@!*# mess sometimes! 🙄 It's so annoying how everyone expects us to just fit perfectly into these neat little boxes. You're dealing with years of conservative brainwashing... that's no small feat! Vent it out, girl, and remember love ain't as clear-cut as society paints it. Facts are facts: trust your heart and ignore the noise!
