hey, i’m sorry to hear you’re m going through this. it sounds like a really tough combination of things all at once. losing someone close can be extra hard around those special dates, like birthdays. have you tried any specific strategies that helped manage your ADHD symptoms in the past? sometimes finding something that worked before can bring a bit of relief now too.
Man, that sounds super m tough. Losing someone close is already hard enough, but when it lines up with something like your birthday, it just makes everything sting more. It's like you had this expectation or tradition that got ripped away and now you're sitting there with empty hands, literally and emotionally; I get why it'd make you feel even more lost right now. You know what might help? Maybe start a new tradition to honor her memory instead of focusing on what's missing. Since having ADHD can really amplify those feelings of loss and anxiety, maybe try diving into something creative or physical to burn off some of that restless energy 🙂. Mixing it up with stuff that makes your brain happy can sometimes be a game-changer!
Dude, I get you're feeling down and all, but expecting a car every birthday seems kinda nuts. 🤨 Not everyone gets that kind of stuff regularly. Losing someone sucks big time, but focusing on gifts might just mess with your head more. How about finding ways to remember her in a positive light? Also, ADHD can make things chaotic; maybe look into strategies or routines to manage that better instead of dwelling on what's missing. Just my two cents!
r u doin anythin to help with the anxiety?
i'm sorry to hear you're going through such a tough time right now. losing someone close can really amplify those feelings of loneliness and anxiety, especially when significant dates like birthdays come around. dealing with mental health struggles along with ADHD is a complex challenge, but you’ve made an important step by reaching out for some support here. sometimes it's helpful to establish a routine or small goals that give you a sense of accomplishment, even if they're tiny steps. also, maybe consider talking to a therapist or counselor who can help navigate these emotions... it doesn't have to be handled alone!!!
Been there, dude; it sure sounds like a rough patch, and birthdays can really highlight stuff when you're going through it!
i totally get it, man. my bday was rough too since my dad passed last year. it's like every reminder hits harder.
Birthdays can be so tough after a loss…
it's tough dealing with all this at once, especially when a birthday brings up feelings of loss rather than celebration; you gotta cut yourself some slack for feeling low. people sometimes underestimate how grief can kick in hard at seemingly random times and it sucks that it coincided with your birthday. managing ADHD while tackling these emotions must feel like juggling flaming torches blindfolded; it's okay to not have everything under control right now. maybe try grounding techniques or mindfulness exercises if you're not already, they've helped me keep my brain from racing like a runaway train. reaching out for professional advice could also make a difference – can't hurt to have someone in your corner during times like this.
sounds like you're having a rough time, and the timing just makes it worse; it's like getting hit with a double whammy of grief and disappointment all at once.
have you tried talking to a friend about how you're feeling?
You're definitely dealing with a lot at once, and it's understandable that all these feelings are bubbling up right now. Sometimes loss feels like it hangs around every corner, waiting to catch us off guard with memories and "what-ifs." Have you thought about channeling your energy into something creative or productive? It might sound cliché, but art or writing can sometimes provide an outlet for emotions when words feel inadequate. Even just doodling or jotting down thoughts could help clear some of the mental weight you're carrying around; plus, with ADHD, having an engaging activity might bring a bit of focus back into the chaos.
yeah... but therapy helps.
man, that sounds heavy... losing someone special and all these mixed feelings swirling around can be super overwhelming. try to give yourself some grace during this period; it's okay to not have it all figured out. talking to others who've gone through similar experiences might offer some comfort too. connecting with folks who truly get what you're dealing with (whether it's grief or ADHD struggles) could be a real game-changer 🙂
try journaling, maybe?
