Thoughts of a random girl

The story

If I suddenly blinked out of existence, I know the world wouldn't change much. Life would go on for most people. The people around me wouldn't be much different if I had never existed. Someone else would be sleeping in the room I'm in. There would be someone else to fill in my empty chair. My friends would still be brave, resilient, and some would still have a tough time opening up. Even though my existence is very tiny in the grand scheme of things, I hope I have had an impact on the people around me, no matter how small. I hope I have given them something to make them smile from time to time. I hope that they remember me down the road. Even if we drift apart, I hope they still think of me every now and then. I want to be the little bit of light in someone's day that makes them believe that there is still good in the world. I want to be the type of person that others know they can come to when they need someone to give their honest opinion. I want to be someone that people can open up to without fearing judgment. I hope that my friends appreciate my quiet presence, and I hope they know that is how I show love. I hope that the people around me know how much they mean to me. I wish they knew how much I've thought about them, wanting only the best for them. Even at the expense of my own wellbeing. I want to mean something to someone. Even if it's just small compliment I have given. And it may be selfish of me, but I could die happily knowing that I had a positive impact on one person's life. I just want to know that I have meant something to someone. Then maybe I could stop telling myself that no one would notice if I was gone. Maybe then I would believe that my life hasn't been a meaningless existence.

you know, i kinda get where you're coming from; 🤔 but honestly, it's a bit of an exaggeration to say the world wouldn't change! everyone leaves a mark, even if it’s not earth-shattering. people remember others in small ways: like that random compliment or shared laugh. sure, maybe not everyone will notice immediately if you vanished; yet those little moments really do add up over time and matter more than you think; life's too uncertain to be expecting grand gestures all the time. keep being you, and that quiet presence will speak volumes someday!

hey, i get what you're saying and it really resonates with me; it's totally natural to feel like a small piece in this giant puzzle. but, you know, even the tiniest gears are essential for a machine to run smoothly. sometimes we're so focused on the big picture that we miss those little connections and moments that actually hold everything together. when you think about your impact, remember that even a shared smile or quiet support can create ripples in people's lives. keep being your wonderful self because your presence has its own special magic that touches others more than you realize!

Hey, I totally feel what you’re saying. It's easy to think our presence doesn’t matter much, but those small impacts can mean the world to someone!! What you hope for is a beautiful thing to want; being that little light in someone's day is more significant than it seems. Keep believing in your worth because those connections and moments add depth to life for both you and others around you! ✨

i kinda see where you're coming from, but saying you'd just blink out without making a difference is a bit too harsh on yourself. ever thought about the ripple effect? your actions, no matter how small, can spread in ways you might not even realize; maybe it's that one time you listened to someone vent or when you helped with something tiny. those things often echo long after the moment has passed. do you have a specific memory where you felt like you made someone's day? trust me, you'll be remembered more than you think. keep on spreading those good vibes, and you'll definitely leave your mark! 😊

honestly, i feel what you're saying... it's like you exist in the background and sometimes it feels like nobody sees you. 😒 but trust me, people notice more than you think!! those everyday interactions, even if small, they add up!!! had a friend once who thought the same way till someone randomly told them how much their smile made school better for them... totally changed their outlook! life's full of unexpected moments where you realize your worth in others' eyes. don't let doubt eat away at that; everyone has their own impactful ripple, no matter how tiny. just keep being real with yourself and others!
