why am i so useless?
The story
I'm really struggling right now. I've always considered myself a competent worker, you know? But recently, I just can't seem to get anything right. It's like I've become my own worst enemy at work!!! 😞 I made this simple mistake in an important project and now it's blown up on my face... I keep replaying it over and over again, wondering what went wrong. It's scary how quickly your confidence can crumble when things don't go according to plan.
I remember back in college, there was this one time I totally bombed a presentation. It was such a small class assignment but oh boy, it felt huge at the time! I thought I'd learned from that experience, how to not let mistakes eat me alive. But here we are again, questioning everything! It makes you feel pretty inadequate: like I'm just pretending to have it all together when clearly I'm not... How do people handle these setbacks without losing their minds??
Every day at work feels like walking on eggshells now! I'm stuck in this cycle of self-doubt and it's incredibly frustrating. How do you rebuild trust with yourself after you've messed up??? Some days I wake up feeling fine, thinking I'm ready to tackle whatever's thrown at me next,,, then reality kicks in and the fear and uncertainty creep back. Am I doomed to fail forever?! Anyone else ever been through something similar??
