My sister had the audacity to tell me this weekend that my relationship with my new boyfriend was "clingy". I mean, excuse me? It feels like everyone is obsessed with labeling relationships without even knowing what they are talking about. This whole situation lacks any kind of strategic foresight. Relationships have their own dynamics and no one bothered to ask me or my boyfriend about ours; My sister, bless her heart, believes she is an expert in this field just because she has managed to stay single for five years straight. 😂Anyway, it seems entirely unreasonable to make such an assertion based on casual observations made during a couple of family get-togethers. What does 'clingy' even mean in a relationship? It's all about personal interpretation right?
