Female friend
The story
so, here's the thing... i found out that my best female friend has been spilling some of my deepest secrets behind my back. it's like she's a human megaphone blasting my personal life to anyone who'd listen!!! these were things i shared in confidence, you know, with the understanding they wouldn't become public knowledge. things like work stress and family dramas... and now everyone seems to know!! it hits differently when you realize someone you've always trusted is capable of such betrayal. i mean, friendships are supposed to be safe spaces where trust reigns supreme.
i'm sitting here wondering if i should confront her about it or just call time on the friendship altogether????? i've seen her do this before (spreading small rumors!) but i thought she respected me enough not to cross that line. emojis are like an essential part of our chats 🤔😅 but they're starting to feel a little phony when coming from her, knowing her words don't match her actions! what would socrates say about this 'friendship'? probably something profound, but i'm just left puzzled! anyway, i'm hoping for some positive resolution... just not sure how to go about it yet.
