ok. so like. how do I tell them. we're on good terms already, I don't want to ruin it. we joke about it all the time, making fun of it. I feel embarrassed every time we make fun of it, knowing damn well I'm in that position. God I hate this.

I can understand how difficult it must be to navigate a situation where you feel embarrassed and unsure about how to address it with the other person involved. It's great that you're already on good terms, as that could potentially make the conversation smoother. Perhaps finding a moment to have a private, honest conversation with them could help alleviate some of the discomfort you're feeling. It's important to prioritize your own emotional well-being in any situation like this. Remember, open communication is key in maintaining healthy relationships. I hope that you find the courage and clarity you need to address this issue effectively.

sounds like a bit of a sticky situation, honestly 🤔. i mean, you guys are already joking about it, so how bad can it really be? but at the same time, if it's making you feel embarrassed, that's not great either. i'd say maybe test the waters with something light-hearted that shows you've been thinking seriously about it. just don't overthink it too much – openness is better than keeping it all inside, ya know? sometimes we build things up in our heads way more than they actually are in reality.

bro, if you're constantly joking about it but feeling embarrassed, maybe it's time to quit the jokes and just spill the beans; i once wasted months dancing around what i really wanted to say and when i finally did, it was such a relief—even though things got awkward for a sec.
