The story

I often find myself in situations where I am relying on friends or family for support. Be it emotional, financial, or practical help, there's always this nagging feeling in the back of my mind. Am I a burden to them? 🤔 While they assure me otherwise, the constant thought doesn't go away easily. It's like a persistent whisper reminding me every time I ask for assistance.

There's this expression that comes to mind: "If the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail." In my case, reliance seems to be my hammer now; every challenge feels heavier because I'm unsure of my capacity to manage without assistance! Isn't there that constant doubt and need for validation when consistently seeking support?!! The boundaries between needing help and becoming an imposition feel increasingly blurred; as if treading on thin ice, expecting kindness yet fearing exhaustion from those around me. Does anyone else get this strange mix of gratitude tied with hesitation or is it just me?!!!
