can anxiety make you cold?

The story

so here's the deal. every time I have to give an oral presentation at work, my fingers turn into ice cubes. like, seriously, I thought it was just the office being too cold. but then I looked around, and my coworkers are all chill, like they’re at a beach party or something. meanwhile, I’m over here feeling like I just stuck my hands in a freezer.

I started to think maybe it’s just my body freaking out about speaking in front of people. Apparently, stress can mess with your blood flow or whatever. I read some stuff about how anxiety can make your hands cold because your blood vessels are freaking out. I don’t know, it sounds fancy, but it’s annoying to feel so out of control right before I have to talk.

The office is supposed to be at this perfect temperature for getting stuff done, so it shouldn’t be an issue. But here I am, dealing with my own personal ice age. I want to understand if there's some connection between feeling anxious and my blood circulation going haywire. But honestly, trying to figure this out just stresses me out more. I could really use some advice or maybe just someone who gets it. Anyone else feel like this at work? I’d appreciate any tips or stories you’ve got.
