can't trust anyone
The story
I've reached a tipping point. My closest friend, whom I trusted with my deepest secrets, has betrayed that trust in the worst possible way. A week ago, I found out from a mutual acquaintance that she had shared something especially personal about me with not just one person but several! As I listened to him talk, the words seemed to echo like a funeral bell ringing through my mind. How could she believe it was alright to tell anyone? It feels like stabbing me in the back. This isn't an isolated incident either. In recent months I have begun noticing a pattern emerging among multiple relationships... I'm having difficulty maintaining any kind of partnership without encountering these malicious leaks and breaches of confidence😟 Stopping this infidelity seems outright impossible; ...who knows who will hurt you next?
Looking back, I vividly remember when it all started unraveling because initially it felt insignificant so I overlooked it.. Back then (oh those naive days...) I assumed sharing secrets led to stronger bonds still trusting implicitly yet casually snapping over private topics actually solidified ties let loose best buds yeah?! Wrong! Then came this surprise ambush feeling betrayed entirely blindsided rather sobering enlightening too faced reality conversation ended watching mouth disbelief dizzy consuming doubts massive misunderstandings clouded decision making rough connections lifetime won't trust again!?
Swallowing this bitter pill isn't pleasant. My belief is grounded in life experiences finding myself falling repeatedly victimized by unreliable individuals driven paradoxically both yearning emotional support simultaneously fearing transparent interactions irrevocably ruined life crystalline truth magnifies tight shell created necessary engender survival being what've been subjected forced stand become bitter judicious surviving existence hopeful eventually things shift positively hold grudges entire rotten past powerful motivation improvement carving path satisfaction future healing rightful justice prevails myself sought under no prism lies honesty conciliation feasible alternatives necessary overcome hurdles perspective.
